Retro Afro,
I like Dee Dee's friends, Lee Lee and Mee Mee, for they are my two favorite female characters in the Cartoon Network show, Dexter's Laboratory. But, out of Dee Dee, Lee Lee, and Mee Mee, I have seem to prefer Lee Lee, the Asian girl in Dee Dee's posse, for she is among my favorite subjects besides history, and movies, and books, and dinosaurs, and Dexter's Lab, and James Cameron's Avatar and especially the Na'vi and avatars in that movie.
I should bring back Dee Dee's friends, Lee Lee, and Mee Mee, and especially their pajamas in Tribe Called Girl, and Lee Lee's green tutu and Mee Mee's purplish tutu, for a Dexter's Laboratory movie project in the spirit of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, mixing live action (shot using not just digital 3-D, 24-P High Definition Digital Video and/or IMAX 3D digital video, but also 35mm anamorphic, 65mm, and high resolution 15/70mm IMAX motion picture film, as well as VistaVision plates), with 2D Traditional Hand Drawn cel animation of the Dexter's Laboratory and Powerpuff Girls characters (done in a visual design style that'll hark back to, closely resemble and be much more faithful to those of the earlier seasons of both shows, even though my project is intended for the big screen), photrealistic CGI and animatronic puppetry of the creatures like dinosaurs, dragons, etc., innovative practical and digital special and visual effects both old and new, and a world fabricated from physical live action sets, real-life location photography, practical minature models/sets, and sometimes CGI elements, with Dee Dee's Asian friend Lee Lee, being, besides Dexter himself, the central focus, the real star, the most developed character, and besides Dexter, the character the audience is to identify with, and the lead female character besides Dee Dee herself, as well as a mighty warrior-type girl wielding a magic sword and clad in samurai armor and helmet also known as Leilung'salu and The Avatar. It will be Dee Dee's Asian friend, Lee Lee, who would lead the war against the evil dark lord, Mandark, and bring about his death and ensure the victory of the forces of good over evil.
As for the music, it should be an epic cinematic combination of traditional orchestra, electronic sounds, and even ethnic and exotic instruments (including ethnic and exotic woodwinds and percussion) and vocals, while George Lucas' Skywalker Sound should be responsible for the sound work and while Peter Jackson's Weta Digital in New Zealand and/or the like should handle having the 2D animated Dexter's Laboratory characters move around and interact within a world fabricated from physical live action sets, real-life location photography, practical minature models/sets, and sometimes CGI elements, while George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic should do the same thing with the 2D animated Powerpuff Girls characters.
It's gonna be a vast canvas even on the scale of the Ring Cycle of Richard Wagner, an epic tale that might take a dozen (twelve) live action/animated epic films (that each run to a duration of three hours or more, and which will all be filmed, made, produced and even shot back-to-back, concurrently, at once, and at the same time as each other) to tell in full as a single narrative.
That project will be Dexter's Odyssey and it's gonna be one of, if not the biggest, most amibitious film project the world should ever see since James Cameron's Avatar and Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, and one of the best, great eccentric cinematic masterpieces, even of this twenty-first century.
It's gonna be great, RetroAfro, would it?
-Tim
