Description This version of the Book of the Dead, again inspired by the "Evil Dead" movies, was originally sculpted in clay. I then created a plaster mold and hand cast the book cover in latex. The cover was then stretched over a hand-made book, complete with pages/art similar to the movie version.

LOL!!! It's "simulated human skin (latex rubber). It definitely was a fun project. I think there are about 8 or 9 of these that I created for private collectors around the world. I haven't made one in some time....as for pages (and the "ALIVE" variant cover), check out my scraps section.
