And sometimes it's kind of weird
Like when I read a book after seeing its movie
And I see the scenes and characters exactly how they appeared in the move
It's like GO AWAY YER RUINING MY IMAGINATION
Because when I read the book first, I see the characters, places and all a bit differently.
But sometimes it's awkward when the first time I read a book, I see a place look like this, but the next time I read it, I notice some describing details I apparently missed out and realize that the place doesn't look like what I thought it looks like

It's just part of the mystery. Stories, even books, are always evolving. If just in what they mean to (and for) us.

And it's better cause its like you're the director.
You decide how the scenes look like,
You get to choose how the characters sound,
And in some cases how they look!

And that sometimes makes it even more depressing when you see the movie adaptation and they butcher what your imagination took hours/days/weeks to build.

But Then When You See A Movie Is It Like Reading A Book That's Like Seeing A Movie In Your Head? ._.

Not usually, unless the movie is of a book you've already seen in your head. Then it's usually just depressing how much they butchered the story that your imagination took hours/days/weeks to build.

Oh yeah. :/
Just
A Series of Unfortunate Events.
I mean what the hell were they thinking? You can't stuff 14 books into a single movie without missing out so many big and important stuff! And so they made the story finish after what were the events of the.. fourth? book
like really -_-

I never really got into either the movie or the series of books, but I understand your frustration. I sympathize!

That's Why If I Refuse To Do Any Of My Novel Ideas (And I Have A LOT.>_<) Without Someone Who Can Draw Out The Worlds I'm Creating The Way I Intend Them To Be So No-One Is Disaponinted Should It Ever Become A Movie. I'm A Bit Of A Stickler When It Comes To Canon Details About A World I'm Reading/Watching/Hearing About To The Point Where When I Read Manga I HAVE To Have The Proper Voices In My Head When I Read.^^'

It may take months, but I do try to get back to people as much as possible. Back in the day I responded to every favorite and follow. Just don't have that kind of time anymore.

Life makes things hard to do sometimes, even the things one might love. I used to upload things frequently, nowadays I get back to comments, but I don't have time to get back to faver's or much time for frequent uploads either.
Thanks again.

One of the reasons I love reading is it really does feel like you travel to the place inside the book.

I'm like this when I read novels, so I tend to enjoy ones that don't prattle on about nothing a little more, lest I lose track of what's going on. You know those rambling books that go nowhere with the plot? Yeah--those are hard ones.
However, with poetry I tend to focus on the words more as words instead of images, but I guess that's because I analyze poetry more than I do prose when I read: the diction, word placement, rhythm and sonics. Poetry, to me, requires a different set of eyes, like glasses to a 3D movie.

I do know exactly what you mean. I am the same way. I found this one book in my local library that the idea just appealed to me, it really seemed like something I would love. However, I only got about 60 pages into it. By the fifth time the author took three pages (or more) to describe leaves on the trees, the creek flowing over rocks, etc I was done.
I always read a poem for imagery first and then start filtering through it. Enjoyment comes first, though. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.

I have the rare talent to be able to think both in words and pictures.
Some peoples have difficult to imagine when they read (my brother for example has said he miss a lot of things when he reads. He remember what he was reading, but he thinks mainly in words).
I believed it was spontaneous.

I am the same way. I have put down a book that I was reading, forgot about it, and then turned on the TV looking for the movie I was watching. And that is a regular thing. Which probably says more about my memory that my visualization.

Twilight doesn't help itself in that it was written like an obsessed 3 year old begging for a shiny toy that knows it isn't good for her, and spends the next god only knows how many pages whining.
...I don't like Twilight. At all.

I actually haven't read either of those. I also love seeing the books in my head as I am reading them, but I also like seeing the movie and finding out how it compares to my version. But, I am glad you enjoy the stamp and I appreciate the comment!
