A doodle ive made before starting laying out Blue Fox to loosen up since i've not drawn anything for two days. Done in around 25 minutes. Again, it's just a doodle/ study.Related content

i think what makes us all go...20 mins...crap, is the pure detail in the clothes and the skin...this is just amazing.
if this is a doodle, i'm gonna love ur actual pictures...and the ones tha take a little longer than a coffee break too.

That's a funky looking top knot... but I won't hold that against you. It's a fantastic pic. 25 minutes my ass.

Aside from the usual mumbo-jumbo crumples i made on the kimono (which is very easy), there's really nothing time- consuming drawing this piece. I mean, look at the figure, it just stood there holding his katana! it's what David would call "dead pin-up", the easiest form you can draw. okay, okay it's not 25 minutes... Maybe 20. :
The funky top knot is actually a usual knot used by the high- ranking samurais of the Kamakura's.
