Dude, I love your art mostly for just your technique and style, but holy shit, this piece actually brought a tear to my eye. You have such an amazing way of expressing such raw and powerful emotions. I hope to one day pull my shit together and make strong pieces like this.

This is the most powerful painting I've seen in a long time.
It just hits you because most everyone has had moments of such intense grief.
The kittens might be our broken dreams and hopes as we grow older.
Our loss of innocence - anger and pain with the way things are in the world.
The things we are powerless to save.
But I really do wish I knew what the stories are behind your work. You're something of a mystery.

Oh god I can feel the pain radiating from this, like dead on. We have some outside barn cats that have kittens every year, and it's always super sad when some of their litter doesn't make it. This year one cat had a miscarriage and the poor cat was yowling for days calling for her kittens that weren't there.

A cat that lived in our barns would often miscarry her kittens. ): And she wouldn't let them go, and would carry the dead kittens around for days until you took them when she wasn't there and buried them.

She was really my grandfather's cat. If she was ours we would have had her spayed and saved her the grief. ; n ;
