I used The Gimp too once (before I fell in love Photoshop), but I could never create anything remotely as beautiful as this.
You must have an enormous amount of patience ...
I like the globey orbey thingies - not quite like the those you see way too often here in DA (I'd know - I make them too).

It portrays the chaotic peace of my mind, a dilemma or so, I don't really understand. Bubbling up, creating unfathomable dimensions of our own. Frogs for predators and butterfly for inferiority, yet they all fall into one substantial globule, floating in a world of absurdity and data cycles.
The frogs are my own stocks, so is that butterfly.
