Backstory: [P] Ragnar Garren - Backstory
Personality: An obnoxious, egotistical, rude, rambunctious, and loud bastard that's always running around getting into trouble. He loves attention, and is particularly flirty with girls while extremely crass and insufferable to men. He thinks that every man is competition to a lady's love and will butt in with every opportunity he gets. Ragnar is usually very upbeat, although he does have his momentarily depressed moments, he springs back up almost instantly.
Ragnar is really dumb compared to his master but he is a master of twisting words to make himself appear better than he is, albeit he does it unintentionally.
Fun facts:
- Ragnar is 6.5 feet tall, slightly shorter than Rokgar.
- Ragnar never apologizes and he rarely compliments men at all.
- Ragnar loves dogs and butterflies. He hates demons.
- Ragnar's custom made gauntlet is wrapped in bandages because he thinks it looks cool.
- Ragnar's fire form can be completely made of fire, I just put pants on him to make it more presentable lol. Also to show his clothing can shift to any form he takes.
- Ragnar can be partly fire as well (just his arm, face, a leg, whatever).
- Ragnar LOVES food to the extent that he would forgo almost anything else that is considered necessary just to get more food.
- This means he almost never sleeps on a bed and is mostly seen sleeping in the woods.
- One can even say he loves food more than ladies.
- Ragnar has a kobold African wild dog named "Jackal" who sticks around with him as a companion.
- Jackal traps the monster while Ragnar does the luring and killing.
- Ragnar has had one solid relationship before it was ended abruptly.
- Her name was Savanna
- If you're someone Ragnar cares about and you wish to give up on your life, Ragnar will give you the most aggressive but positive pep talk in attempt to cheer you up. Something along the lines of "FUCKING LOVE YOURSELF, BITCH!"
- Ragnar can't really comfort well either soooo yeah... that's the best you get from him.
- In the Monster Hunter ranks, there is an official "Legendary" rank that can only be achieved if the hunter has killed 10 dragons (or monsters as powerful as them). But since Ragnar's master told him to stay away from dragons and cause no harm to them, Ragnar can never become a real "Legendary" Monster Hunter. He is trying to find monsters that can substitute dragons though.
- [WOR RELATED] Ragnar's first and favourite reosean is a tyrian in which he named "Doomsayer ". He and Ragnar live in Roenden.
- Ragnar chose Roenden because he kinda got a bad name in Thedale lol. He hangs around Warrenfall sometime tho.
Abilities:
- Flaming Hot: Ragnar can only manipulate the fire that makes up his body. He cannot control fire produced by other people or by nature. He can shoot out fire balls, create fiery weapons, extra fiery limbs etc.
- But when that flame touches a surface, separated from his body, Ragnar has only 10 seconds left to control/extinguish the flames before it is considered "not part of him".
- Ragnar can also change into a purely fire form where he cannot be harmed by physical attacks. Physical attacks that strike his core still cause damage, but his core can move freely in his body, making it a difficult target.
- Nanobot Skeleton: In a situation where his flames are extinguished, his body will just shift back to his usual human self, but for a brief second his robotic appearance will be revealed (Think Ultron mixed with the robots from Detriot: Become Human and Alita). Ragnar can still use his default metal body/nanobots to fight by creating whips, blades and all sorts of metal weaponry. The nanobots are made mostly from tungsten so it will be extremely fireproof.
- Ragnar's master, Rokgar, limited his nanobot abilities though. Ragnar cannot use blasters, guns, and missiles (basically any ranged modern/futuristic weapons). This is to reduce suspicion of what Ragnar and Rokgar are, as advanced technology is forbidden on the surface.
- Digital Inventory: Ragnar can stamp any non-living, or deceased item he wishes to store and put them in an "RPG"-like inventory. This is like a pocket dimension only Ragnar can access. The stamp can be removed. He has a total of 20 slots, but big items may take up more than one slot.
- Again, since advanced technology is banned on the surface, Ragnar is told to use this ability only when no one is looking. But Ragnar doesn't carry around backpacks of any kind, so that's enough suspicion to draw people in when he pulls stuff out of his ass.
- Improvised "Flight": Ragnar can boost himself up with fire, but he cannot use his nanobots' ability to fly (another thing Rokgar cut him off from). Ragnar can pretty much just super jump or slow his fall. He can still launch himself pretty high up, and hover for a bit in air, but it can barely be called "flying".

I just need him to look more "legendary" and that other design wasn't cutting it for me
I'm not going to throw out the other references though since they're nice to keep around for memories.
