It looks quite small. I have visited a bigger one in the other side of the country, with similar features, when I was a girl. I still remember the way it smelled inside. This picture reminds me of my childhood. I think I'm homesick xD

Built in 1720, the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple is a World Heritage Site in Bârsana, Romania.It features some of the most representative baroque indoor murals in Maramureş. The church has a collection of icons painted on glass and old religious books. (Wikipedia)
Anyway, it was closed when I visited the village, and it seems that there are not much people going there.

It's a pity these churches are kept closed.
Some rural churches i visit are locked. I get they keys from a nearby keyholder and return them later!
