in the sidebar on the right there should be a blue button that says "Edit" (next to it is "Delete"). Click that edit button and you see a version of the submit page where you can edit every detail of your deviation. If you're finished just hit the "Update" button on the top or the bottom of that page and that's it.

I don't really know what you mean by contact list... The deviants you're watching?
On the right side of the site header there's a button saying "Friends". The list that shows up after clicking contains everyone you're watching (unless you've changed that option). At the bottom of that little window is a button ("Manage Friends") that redircts you to a page where you can edit if you consider those deviants friends (to show up in the list mentioned before) as well as for which activity of them you want to receive a message.
I hope that's it - I don't know of another "contact list"...
