First of all...This piece is FABULOUS!!!!! I really like the addition of the butterfly in the artwork! It perfectly matched the title and also increased its presentation. I'm in love with the background and the colors used in the hand and in it. The dead ad dreadful yellow actually defines demise in its own unique manner. The hand left like a lone piece stands out very uniquely! What I also like was that the hand was very cleverly defined with the background as both have almost the same type of shades. In total, this piece is really nicely compiled and finished.
The only advice that I would like to give you is that ilthe fingers generally have some dark shaded at the edge of the palm, the place where they start, so if you could add that shade also, this piece will rock like rad awesomeness! Have a great day!

I really like your style and this is amazing!
The butterfly looks like it could pop from the page, the only thing I have to say looks odd to me would be the wrist feels like it's thin up until it hits the watch then it's almost like it thickens up oddly making it feel like it doesn't belong.
I would think thinning up the section after the watch from where it connects would look a bit more realistically proportioned.
The watch is well designed though looks a little flat on the bottom half where the strap clips together, perhaps a bit of shadowing to make it look elevated?
Beyond those couple things though awesome job and amazing work!
Hands are difficult and you did quite well!

I really like this. It has color it’s just hidden under the shading. The longer you look the more color you see. There are blues, reds, greens, yellows. However, on the surface it is too dark to see the pretty colors. I really like that affect. It brings you into the mood I think you intended. When you are depressed in life, even the prettiest shades will look dull, dingy, and corrupt. The only thing i think you could have done better is the watch. The lining seems offish. Its not that bad. The moth is perfect compared to the watch. Why Dead Beat? I am sure there is a story I am sure there is one.

Interestingly I see a dead hand as one who has cared for the dying and dead in my work. The colourless or semi coloured hand still has its watch on and someone has to take it off........!Β
The butterfly keeps its pigment for a long time where us mere humans do not.Β  What did you use to draw this lovely drawing ?Β
Excellent work........Kindness Mandy

I really like the grungy, dirty style. It works well with the prettiness of the butterfly. As a few others said, the watch is a bit flat, but overall it's a pretty cool piece.
