Description
This is the commission image won in the contest i held some time ago. I'm sorry it took so long to get it done. Have been to busy with school to be able to finish it.She wanted me to draw her character.
I made the background alot more detailed but it was drawing attention from the character so i remade it with a more simple look. Also added afew personal touches to the character. Hope you don't mind, Sheeko!

Oh, I don't mind at all. That is about the coolest thing I ever saw in my life! Ohmygosh. I lovelovelove it! The sunflowers make the picture even better. I really love how you did everything yourself, even the tedious grass. Her tail looks way cooler the way you drew it...

Since i make the background on the same file as the character is on i just simply remake it as in
erase/paint over the old one. Maybe you would have liked that one more. But in my personal opinion
the first background was to detaild and stole focus from the character wich isn't a very good thing in images like this where the main goal is to make a good portrait of a subject (in this case your character).

You're right. Like if you have a drawn character with a digital picture (taken by a camera), it sort of detracts from the picture. I think the backround's perfect as it is now.
