Belated b-day gift for thelivingmachine02 , and for being such an awesome inspiration.
For anyone checking this out for the first time, my original concept was based on Chris’ idea of his character Anita being a pickpocket in her youth, so I wanted to play around with that. Plus I liked the outfit he designed for her.
I assumed that she came from a wealthy family since she went to private school so I thought it’d be fitting that she’d be looking back at an old photo of her family or friends, before things got rough or possibly even tragic.

she's so cute, despite her being all sad and whatnot.
i love that you kept the detail in her poncho and chullo. now i feel like i have to keep that design for future drawings.
in fact, i should really draw more of her and go into more detail of her backstory.
still, this is amazing and it's great seeing your art improve so rapidly.

I'm glad you like it and it's the least I could do. Anita is such a fun character to draw and yet I'm kind of surprised that after all this time I haven't drawn her adult-self (should be interesting to try out one of these days).
I'd love to see more about her backstory too, she's really character I'd like to know more about.
