Around this time of year a large amount of ladybirds move in and hide away from the approaching winter cold. As a write this description one is crawling up my wall!

I saw this little ladybird on my balcony outside and had to take a few shots with a borrowed nikon macro lens. I called it last of the ladybird as it looks like he is looking out over my garden for one last time before coming in for Christmas!

Taken with a Nikon D50, an AF Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8 lens with an additional Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Teleconverter.
