This looks like it came from an actual animated show. Β This is the kind of style I have been doing lately with my stuff.Β

Ahaha yeah I was really going for that comic book style with the hard black shadows rather then blending.

Great drawing, looks like it come out from the comics itself. The coloring is good, very nice shading. Adding a move make it more pop up ^^

Thank you...yeah I was going for that cel shaded comic book look and judging by the comments and favs I guess it turned out pretty good. I want to be an expert on cel shading and comic book shading becauseΒ love that style.

I'm not that fan about comic, prefer animes.
And i don't know if it's true in your country, but here, comics are reallyΒ
more for boys than girls xD
I'm too much a girl xD I prefer anime
But i recognize it's a great art too ! Just a different one.

Thank you so much. I think cel shading is going to be the style that I'm going to stick with rather then soft shading. I just like the hard edges and you don't really have to blend as often either. Have you ever tried cel shading before? I see that you do a lot more soft shading and blending in most of your art work.

No problem!
No, I have never done that before to be honest. It requires clear lineart, and I almost never work with clear lines lol.

this is really great work, the muscles on his legs and chest are done super well! Β i also dig the way you did his hands, they're way creepy.Β

THANK YOU so much for noticing. It was tough trying to figure out where the muscle would be. Ahaha yeah they are more claw like then actual hands. It gives a really creepy more alien like feel then just giving him normal human hands.

Thank you so much. I love using the cel shading style. It's both very cartoony and easy to do, and if pulled off correctly can really make a drawing pop.

Looks cool! I feel like the blue is bit off, or not visible, though.

Yeah I went with the darker shade of blue for Venom. There are three different ways to actually draw him from what I've seen. You can go with the classic black and white where white is usually the reflective color, a really light blue and black and also the darker tone blue and black. I choose the darker blue because I wanted to create a darker more sinister feeling that would come from him.
