wow oldschool, and the deviation seems to capture that feeling of being stuck in time and being free. Bizarre. Think its the gray with the birds.... (seeing the chart flash by brought back some memories of songs.... man)

I don't know why, but this photo has a sinister quality to it and it looks cool. Like all the birds are 'evil' and coming out of this "black hole" if you will.

oh ok, sinister wasn't what i was aiming for, but fair play and i can see how it could look like that..
thank you, Dwayne, for making me see it in another light..

Sure does have some sort of sentimental quality to it, nostalgic.. its one of those views I'd see in a prison cell. The scattered birds in the sky has become a clichΓ© in many ways but I think the tonality of b&w is rich and so are the position of each birds. I particularly love the bird on the very right by the edge of the photo. It counter balances with the dark smudge mark on the left bottom corner..and marks can be associated with many things, but just looking at this photo makes the birds look as though they're all part of the dark mark itself.

oh cool.. thank you, i kinda like the sound of that.. 'sentimental quality'..
i really appreciate the indepth comment, my friend..and am happy that you like the image.. the dark 'smudge' is actually due to the colour of the clouds
