I understand the feeling. That's why I sound so Derpy whenever i talk about my art on here. But at the same time, sometimes you just gotta brag. Especially if you're good.

Oh, I know the way you feel! If you say you like your own work, you're selfish. If you say you hate your art, you want attention. So fucking fair. XD Which is why I do both; I don't like all of my art, of course, but I do have a certain love for every piece I create. So I might say "this is so bad!" at first, but go "well, I guess it's fine :3" Haven't gotten a complaint about it yet. XD

Rofl Yeah, it really isn't fair. I mean, artists should be able to have the right to complain without people thinking they're whining and brag without people thinking they're stuck up. It's hard. It's even harder when someone talks to you and compliments you. I always get so derpy cause I don't know how else to react.

I agree with you! To me, it's alright to complain, but when a person does nothing else than that, then it gets really pathetic. But doing it every now and then and not to ridiculous lengths, it should be allowed. After all, freedom of speech is allowed in most countries, not to mention on the internet.
I just thank for the compliments. Sometimes I might say I wasn't too happy with the results, but not too often. :'D It is difficult to know how to react most of the time, though. Especially when you don't know how sensitive other people are...

I definitely agree. I also agree that people can be incredibly sensitive when it comes to these things. You have to make a guess at how far to go when you respond and it's difficult. I've met people that a simple thank you just isn't enough and then people who saying thank you to they're all like O.o did you just thank me? It cracks me up but at the same time it can be a pain.

ROFL! I agree with you, screw them if they have a problem. I really wish everyone could get along. But unfortunately that just can't happen. People are too different. That's both a good and bad thing. Good because it would suck to have a world full of clones and variety is good. But bad because all the differences cause so many problems. SIGH!
