Lichens, pine trees and rocks are the three most beautiful things in the forest and I thought that it is a nice subject to try out a more illustrative style.No reference.

Looks great, as with all your watercolours. I think that the atmosphere works well as a peaceful, almost dreamy feeling, and I love the way you painted the plant life.

Lichens grow at the best places, love the location.
Very well done, I like the choice of having elements at the foreground pushing the eye back at the focal point. Also one stroke background trees are a big plus for me.
