Description
This is an illustration I whipped up of Kudamon—my favorite official Digimon. I know there are a couple of versions of Kudamon’s design out there, but this one with both the front and back legs is my personal favorite.

I’ve been playing Pokémon and watching Digimon now that I have some time. After re-watching some of Tamers, I started looking up the Digivice toys out of curiosity. I eventually bought one of the Data Squad Burst Digivices when I read that you could choose Kudamon as your Digimon. So, essentially, this is a doodle of my Kudamon hanging out in his Digivice, heh.

One thing that I really like about Kudamon’s design is how it has a subtler fusion of organic and technological elements than a lot of other Digimon. Kudamon mostly looks like a regular weasel or fox, but its markings look like circuitry, giving it a hint of that technology feel.

The numbers in the image’s background are not random; they are actually letters of the alphabet written in binary code. The green numbers spell out “Kudamon” over and over, and the red numbers at the top and bottom spell out “Riel.” I also based the arc and line design in the background on the screen design of the Burst Digivice toy.
