Time limit : 1hResults : left is v1, right is v2. I think v2 is more what I want at the moment but there are things I like better on v1.

I acteully feel v2 has less refining then v1. The larger shadow areas in v1 suggest more shape then v2 to me. v2 does have more apealing colors to me.
Both practises look great though, I hope you find a method you feel satisfied with.
