I tried colored pencils again ^_^I really love this drawing <3 It looks soo much better in real, the colors actually are really soft but yet bright, but the scanner killed it all >o< So next time I'll have to put a bit more pressure on the pencils I think XD
Weeell, this is a new character of mine! I don't have a name for her yet, but she will be Rin's little sister and Mika's best friend ^w^ (can you tell I really like all my charries to be related to one another? XD)

All I can think to offer in the way of improvement is that you should work on more solid shading. Your choice of colors works out well, and it's all laid out nicely, but I don't think that such vivid colors should be drawn in so lightly. Let the colors stand out a little more! It'll add some strength to the picture and really make it stand out.
I like the style you picked: the outfit, the pose, the expression. I think that the smaller background should be enlarged; this, too, will give your picture a little more impact by cutting out that empty white space.
