Description This is better than the rough anatomy tutorial... lol

I did give some notes and if anyone has any questions, please, ask away!! Portraits are my forte, so I'd love to answer them if I can.

And I tried to make the face androgynous, but it looks a little more male lol

And if you like to draw in the anime/manga style, you can adjust these proportions for your characters. The follow similar proportions, just with larger eyes and, usually, smaller mouths.

Good luck!!

I couldn't stand the "rough" handwritten text of the original any more! This one has all the same information, but it's much easier to read! I'm sorry if you liked the other one better, but I'm a graphic design major. I can't just leave these things alone!

Got any tips, tricks, or advice on drawing attractive female faces that don't look masculine? I find that to be difficult to balance.

I'm so glad I was able to help you!! I gleaned that information from various sources over the years, but before I figured it out I had a lot of trouble too! Good luck!

I was working on a picture just now, and my face seemed a bit.. well, off. When I found this I realized her mouth was way too small and made it twice as large. Now she looks worlds better, thanks! : D
