Description I spent all day on this sucker. And finally gave up on the background.. But I'm proud of the look of it.

Zuko and Katara on their wedding day. Because that's momentous. I'll edit this late when I'm not dead on my feet...

Beautiful--though I agree with you about the background. It kind of detracts from how much time you (obviously) took on Zuko and Katara. They are shaded so well and detailed; but the background is so simple and 2 dimensional. I can't wait until you re-do the background. I envision ornate columns, rugs and a statue or two...but that's just me.

I think I can see that. The table kind of bugs me, though. (Sorry if you spent hours on it, but comparing its quality to Katara and Zuko's, I think not)It kinda draws the eye away from Zuko and Katara. But that's just me and my own opinion--which shouldn't have any sway on you as an artist unless you agree with it.

I actually referenced the one Fire Nation wedding we've seen. The one between Ta Min and Roku. So her wedding dress is based off of Ta Min's, with purple (Water Tribe colors) instead of red.
