I love this game. In fact, it's what inspired a story of mine.
Heartless Nights: Still Worth Fighting ForKazuki used to be part of a band, however he served as the drummer, meaning he didn't get much of the spotlight, if at all. The band split anyway, shortly before he bumped into Yukari Futaragi. She eventually found out about it through word of mouth, but she wanted to her his side of the story.
"Kazuki, how come you never told me about his before?" Yukari curiously asks her discouraged boyfriend.
"It was a long time ago, and we were freshmen at the time. I had no idea on where we'd go if we actually got noticed. I'm not a songwriter, I just follow the rhythm. I just wish I can have a place in the spotlight. Even if it's rather brief."
"Spotlight or no, you're still a rockstar to me." She says as she kisses him on the cheek, trying to comfort him in his disappointment.
The next day, he runs into his old bandmate, Shigenori Aoki. "Kazuki, is that you? Hey, it's so good to see ya bro."
"Nice to see you too, Aoki." Kazuki replies.

It's about a former drummer who lives his longtime dream of being in the spotlight for one night. As heis given to chance to play frontmanwith his old bandmates. And while not terribly original, he decides to sing a cover of his favorite song; Still Worth Fighting For by My Darkest Days.
