I have barely made it that far in the game. This game is so freakin hard and I still know there's ways for me to go already. The farthest I've gotten is The Collector boss.
Also I heard there's this "True Last Boss" that comes after him in the game, if you collect enough Essence that is. Not sure what it is, but all I can imagine is that it is extremely difficult to defeat.

oh yeah the boss after him is is a total pain in the ass XD.
Not gonna spoil anything but it is an epic fight but seriously frustrating. Gotta use the right charmbuild to get me through that, and one trick I've learned from a few fellow players is that the spells you learn, like desolate dive and howling wraiths (or the vengeful spirit spell you learn from the snail shaman) are the key to making the fights a bit easier.
you've still gone pretty far then I haven't fought the collector boss yet but I am seeking him out, just need the key to get access to his tower.

Right now I'm stuck on the Soul Tyrant boss. The regular Soul Master was one of the tougher ones for me, but his Tyrant Form is quite a hassle.
People who think that Cuphead is hard should see this game.

I haven't even attempted that guy oh my gosh, but I guess I'll have to if I want to awaken my dream nail.
What I am REALLY NOT looking forward to is fighting nightmare king grim... no no no no no no NOPE
I am slowly trying to convince my friends to get this game, so far I think I succesfully infected (hehe infected) four of them with my hollow knight hype

How do you even get to Nightmare King Grimm? I don't know how to unlock the area where he is battled at.
A friend of mine introduced me to it. Though I have to admit it's among one of the hardest games I've ever played, I love all the action and the interesting levels. It's like Castlevania with Bug People, but a lot harder and with a lot of other unique elements. The bosses, though hard, are rather well designed though, and there are quite a few good scary or dark moments to this game too.

have you been to the howling cliffs yet? In the area you can find the body of one of the grimm troupe members, if you dream nail him you should be able to activate the grimm troupe. (they move their base right next to the exit of the king's pass, just before you head into dirtmouth)
It's actually a prime example of a metroidvania game, there is so much content and so much to explore I haven't even completely finished the map yet! And I'm going for 100% completion (112% completion requires me finishing the pantheon of hallownest and I don't think I'm ready for that xD)
