Description update: wasn't satisfied; lightened things up here and there and fixed some opacities.

*ahem* i realized i never actually drew anything for kristi's birthday, oh, back in february. for that, i'm extremely sorry. but she's a nice girl, so nice to forgive this foolish friend.

i noticed that she was using a certain image of mine for her messenger avatar. totally flabbergasted as to why she would ("because it's a pretty picture") so i made her a wallpaper. ha!

chocochips cookies if you can recognize him.

done in sai and mixed around in photoshop.

Oh wow. I want those wings. Those are so insanely awesome. The texturized bg is really nice, and I love the mix of colours. I just... Yeah. Love.

half of the effects on the wings are done by photoshop; sai, for me, gives me that painterly feel.

Hrms I'm just a photoshop newb and haven't tried much else. I would like to try sai to see if it gave my style a bit of a change. I'm really trying to shade more with colour recently. And now I'm spamming on your picture comments. D:

i'm a photoshop noob also. i just use it for lineart, basic coloring, texturing, and putting special effects. i haven't explored much of sai, just playing with the brushes. <--too chicken.
