This style is so mind-boggling to me. How you manage to capture the exact form of an animal and the environment it's in; while the piece itself is so busy, and full of things --Β it's nothing short of marvelous!
Such talent!

Haha, fair enough. True art shouldn't need explaining - it just is.
You're welcome.

well... it could be explained, just not in the way probably most people might think Β
there is no maths or precise guide to what is done here.Β
Instead, what is on this paper is a process of learning automatic movement of the hand ^^ basically you just have to start and try to create a line that describes the object most interestingly or accurately and after doing that, through trial and error you will eventually teach your hand to do that without much thinking. You end up letting your subconscious take over what you absorbed Β in practice and the hand just does stuff that looks good without thinking too much about it

Hmm... well I've never put much though to it, but since you said so I have to agree. Interestingly, it sounds just like playing an old, and much loved, piano piece. Put simply, it's really experience, practice and repetition at work here, huh?

it kinda is like that yes. even musicians and music creator go through the same.
creating a sequence of notes that sound in harmony but they don't need to think too much about it to create it. the notes just come

And here lies the reason why most good artists when asked how do they do it, answer with "practice, practice, practice" it's not because they don't want to tell you how to do it. It's because that is the only way of learning ^^ there be no shortcuts here. No magical tutorial to grant you the skill. All they can give is maybe a few tricks and rough guidance to help you understand and how to get there
