EDIT 2014-05-27I have adjusted his muzzle size according to the new species standard - it is more prominent now. I also tried to make his eyes a bit more realistic yellow.
Meet the grandfather of Rubi blackmystica.deviantart.com/ar⦠, Arto (not online yet) and Jade riverraven.deviantart.com/art/⦠, father of Theron (eehh, few drawings of him online but none of them are representative.. kinda like him to always act weird..).
Arto looks a LOT like his grandfather! O.O and actually Theron has the same expression as his father! (Just to explain: Arto is one of my main 5 cheederians, including Rubi, and they are 'in my head' since eehh.. since I met Mystic XD They are adopted in her story for real, so they needed a family and Ivan just popped up in my head!)
His name is Ivan and he is a joyful Russian male with a deep, stern but friendly and fatherly voice. He likes to give lectures to young-adult cheederians, so maybe he is a professor in some kind of (natural) science.. No idea yet XD maybe geosciences or the like..
He lives just above the Gobi desert, where it can be -40 C during the winter (and I'm still looking for the perfect spot in Russia were the summers are pretty cold... so he must live high in the mountains). I can imagine that he hunts in the Gobi desert sometimes...

He looks like a lion almost...but what would his color be (cream for Arto?)?

It's a wideband gene, which makes him look creamy. His base colour is havana (you can still see that in his manes). It's possible that Arto also has the wideband gene, or maybe simply a dilution. Don't know for sure.

So wait, does he have an extension that makes him golden instead of brown?

It's the wideband gene that makes the brown (havana) hairs turn a creamy color from the base of the hair, but the tips are still havana. You can see that on Ivan his back, a bit. His manes are visibly brown because of an extension that overlays the wideband gene, turning his manes brown again (also the tip of his tail).

If you ever get time, I would love to see a full body picture of him...well I suppose that kind of has already been done ^^.Β
I think...that Bojan and Bela may be Japanese Siderians instead, but Bojan had a parent who was European (which gave him his name, most likely his father). He chose to give Bela a Czech name, but maybe her middle name is Japanese...the reason...I found a new voice reference for Bela (since her story has changed a lot).
You are going to have to listen closely since it does go a bit fast, but Belaβs new voice sounds more like Luka in this (she is the one who is singing first, then it shifts to Miku). The part that goes βIf magic rules this world, Iβll use that power to dry out the flower petalβ that really sounds like the voice of Bela now.
Um...the sub is okay, but not entirely accurate...I spend the better of this morning trying to decipher it into something that is both accurate and makes sense. But a tragic story it is.
