Thanks man. I got background stories really for only Gan and Shin-RIV. MAIME and the Rep Girl are just two characters i made up that i have fun drawing alot. . .

hey man, this is really cool. i love the 'comic book' kinda style of the line work and the half shading. i think it works really well as an over all introduction to the set of characters and shows a diversity in your illustration skills. i dont know if that makes any sense to you but i dont know a lot about illustration, photography is my field i am affraid, but what i am basically trying to say is that its nice to see a range of drawing/colouring skills from you, all of which you do very well.
and i love the choice of colours, red black and white are a sure hit together!!

I understand what you mean, and i thank you tremendously! I get afraid that i'll get locked into one way of illustrating and coloring, so that would probably explain my want to switch it up alot

o my god, really?? actually everything i own is red black and white, the colour sceme in my room is red black and white, even my cars (although as you have seen in dans illustration of the mini i have swapped white for silver).

This is cool dude, I like how you colored everything in a sort of tribute style to original B/W comic are. You know what I am talking about the different patters for shading. Hmmmmm alright I try and think of something better then that, hmmmmmmm...........think think think, brain blast. Oops there it goes again, no wait, no there it goes again, wait....no, wait ok here we go.
Its a cool piece hows that. NO?........ Ok maybe I with think of something later on. Hay what hapend to Shin's staff? Alright all craziness aside this is a really sharp Illustration.

i like the half tone (i think thats what all the little as my non art term would be weekday newspaper comic dots are called)look, the rivers logo kinda throws me becuase it looks like shes showing it as part of her shirt, but it doesnt quite go with her curvs. but i think you are more trying to show the logo then make it part of the picture, so not really a huge probblem. *snaps out of critique mode*

yea, i played with distorting the logo more and it sorta stood out less, and become more so a fixture of the art as you said
. . .but the distortion onto the shirt probably can be pulled off subtle *cough, too lazy, cough*
halftone shading is very addicting too! It's just a matter of time before i completly abuse the use of half tone dots!
