Description
This series, Saiunkoku Monogatari, has been my recent obsession! So, I decided to do a little doodle of Ensei and Seiran. The characters written in the background are the epithets of the Water Margin characters that these two represent.Photoshop CS2.

I randomly found it and watched the first ep. and the openin' already got me with the melody and text...

Very nice, the contrast between the two characters is interesting. I love the way you colour and the expressions they carry, lovely. Seiran is definitely a favorite from Saiunkoku Monogatari. ^_^

This style of coloring is really neat! I love how the noses and lips look... I also like the eyes... heck, I like it all. XD The expression of both are great, but for some reason the one on the left I REALLY like.

Considering how I'm guessing you've never read/seen Saiunkoku Monogatari, I'm happy to hear from your description that I've at least managed to capture both of their outward images decently. XD Seiran aka silver-haired guy is actually more cunning/volatile on the inside, but he hides it well with that sort of calm appearance whereas Ensei is actually the calmer of the two, but people seem to think he looks sketchy due to his outward appearances. XD
