Hey there!
That picture is so... good. I totally didn#t notice that the guy in front is Alfred until I saw that the guy in the back looks a bit too dipleased for being him. Then I did look at the title. ^^'
In northern Germany, "Berliner" are doughnuts filled with jam. I don't live there, but I've eaten them several times... In Southern Germany, it's called Krapfen. And yeah, it's doughnut-like and always eaten during carneval. www.baeckerei-wolf.de/img/prodβ¦
I think they draw that because it's similiar food. They taste rather similiar, too, just the center is rather different. ^.^

I actually almost couldn't tell the difference until I noticed Nantucket pushed back. Then I giggled.

ooh smexy *drool*
uhm, I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is something they call 'jam doughnut' in the article [link] tell me if it's what you are looking for.
oh, another funny fact, here in Finland we have something called 'berlinermunk' which would be a doughnut filled with jam... and it has absolutely nothing to do with Germany xDD

America is the one with his hair slicked back, Ludwig is the one with the blushing cheeks. This is a continuation of the Al-Lud outfit exchange picture I did a while ago
