A sketch of Petronila I of Aragón —daughter of Ramiro II “the Monk” and his wife, Inés de Poitou— alongside her husband, Ramón Berenguer IV, count of Barcelona. Their marriage meant the union of the Crown of Aragón with the County of Barcelona, and I, who had been born in the later and raised in the first, I am more than honoured to sketch them
