This is the antagonist out of *iExploded 's doggy webcomic virusRISING, Katzbalger.
They were looking for fanart to adorn the second issue so I arted for your pleasure.

The cool bit is that I actually managed to enter the original into a certain local art show, which is pretty popular. My school hosts it so I can get a special prize etc.
I dropped the original off at an art shop down the road, and the framing will be done by Friday. I hope I'll still be able to get it in the show on time, considering that today was the deadline.

Another cool bit is that I used my new Copic brush pen for most of the outline.

The pen i mostly used for this was a brush pen, and because of its shape i was able to alternate the amount of pressure i applied to the page to vary the line width! many of the thinner lines detailing the teeth and claws were with a fine-tip outline pen as well. i hope this answers your question.

I'm really glad you like it so much As I type, the original is hanging, framed, in my school hall. It's got a tag and everything.

ps. as for getting the finished version done by the deadline, I'm not sure if I'll be able to manage it. My tablet isn't working on my laptop and I'll only be able to get it working when my stupid friend remembers his hard drive. Which could be a while :/

Honestly, issue 2 probably won't be done by the 30th so if you need a couple more days that's fine. And if the picture's not complete by the time I want to put the issue up for sale, I think the inks are awesome enough just as they are.

All art stuff is expensive, and if it's not it's crap. But the expensive stuff is just so arhhuuggh delicious. I found a brush that cost $80.
