Description
The female Sumatran Tiger at the Sacramento Zoo, lounging in partial shade and looking rather surprised. To be honest though, she looked surprised the entire time I was there, so I'm thinking she just has the crazy eyes.

Yes, indeed.
Can I ask you something? I noticed you've been to quite a few zoos outside your native Texas (e.g. in CA). Is this just a coincidence, or do you purposefully travel through the country to visit the "best" zoos?

I don't travel much, but when I do, I make sure to visit the zoo(s) in the area. My mom lives in California near the San Francisco and Sacramento Zoos, so whenever I go to see her, I take a day or two to go to the zoo. The Oakland Zoo is also nearby, but I haven't heard good things about it, so I haven't visited. I think the only other zoo I've been to in the US (besides San Antonio) is the Woodland Park Zoo in Washington, and that's just because my sister lives up there. So really, I've just been lucky to have good zoos near me whenever I visit family.
