Description Old Duraniumsides investigates the remnants of a captured rogue moon orbiting a spectacularly ringed gas giant near the Tholian border. Commander Ralston mans the helm, with her hand hovering over the phaser firing switch as they slowly wend their way through the moon's unpredictable debris field. Most ships have had the good sense to stay out of this hazardous area, marked by a warning beacon. But intermittent signals have been detected from somewhere near the center of the chaotic rock cloud and the Captain Dhruva made the decision to try and directly establish the source.

--------

Per usual, that's Aggi's Connie. The planet is CDBernier's Planet Z with ring texture supplied by Drell-7. The asteroids are all from Aery Soul's "Big Rock" freebie with a custom displacement map by me.

Rendered in DAZ Studio 3.

I went there when I first encountered your work and I veered off and got fixiated on the booby pics there too. OTOH the when your Trek pics are in a forest of your Trek pics they don't stand out as much as they do elsewhere. Cheers!

All that empty space to play around in and he's gotta check out a debris field.

Thanks. Half the time I'm never consciously thinking about composition, but my hands usually lead me in the right direction. Glad you like the color. I did a final tweak to make that blue really pop.

Remarkably cool. Man, that displacement on the asteroids is totally cool! And the ring works great. The drama of the scene wonderful, and the palette is outstanding!
