Reality 4 and Lux definitely take some getting used to. I haven't tried any outdoor scenes yet. But you did a good job here.

The indirect lighting is lovely and the composition is great. However, I am a bit sceptical about the very shiny pots and the oversaturated red of the flowers. It gives it a way as CG rather than a photo. Also a minor issue, the bump map for the tiles is not worthy of the rest of the picture. Some weird alternating borders between the tiles. Sorry for being a bit critical, overall, it is a great piece.

Luxrender is really doing nice renders. That's also becoming one of my favorite workflows!

Lovely render. And I agree about the workflow.
And discovering new items to play with, like: did you try the queue-tab already, keeps your PC busy while asleep...
I'm not much of a modeller, so now I'm checking Sketch-up Warehouse regularly to see if there are nice models to try in DAZ/Reality/Lux. (You have to export them in .obj of course)

thnx for that - it's the first time that i used the "estimate settings" in Lux (under Render - Imaging - Kernel=Linear). I, at any rate, would probably never come up with the values that Lux comes up with. If it interests you, I used 1 sun, the above settings, Colour Space=daylight, Film response=Agfacolor vista800, and then reduced gamma a bit and increased the sun a bit. Then played a lot with the texture settings..... hope this is useful
