Description done from a photo, Can't remember where I got the picture... and can't find it now.. Peaceful and calm.. I enjoy trying to make drawn or painted water look like... well... like water.. when I look at this finished, I think of the old "paint by number" kits. Hope y'all find something you like in it.

ignore the comment below this one, I got the wrong page... this one is fully digital, and yes, I do love the fact that I don't have to scatter paint and the rest of the supplies I need to do a real canvas or watercolor... the one I commented on below... is here:[link] sorry again for the confusion, and you might be interested in this one, I try to explain why and how I use digital art here: [link]
And Thank you for the comment, it really does make it worth while when someone leaves a comment after they see my art Thanks again
Take care

it is so much easier to practice on, no spreading paper, paint, pallet, water or thinner.... just pick a brush a nd a color, even background texture and start, the above is a combination of real paper and pigment watercolor and a bit of computer stuff to finish it, this is one of the designs I do as a demo in a class.... I wanted to send out a winter type wallpaper to friends so scanned the half finished image and touched it up here and there in Adobe and Corel...I'm glad you like it enough to comment, it means alot to me
Take care

I really like this, it do so remind me of home, when I was very young there was this stream that past our house and the weeping willows on the river banks. Thanks, I almost forgot about it

PS. Great work, the water is super.

Thank you Water is my favorite thing...
I use Adobe PhotoShop CS2 and Corel Photo-Paint 11. along with the Wacom tablet software, I like the dry pigment brushes in Adobe, its like using a real pencil, using varied pressure on the stylus gets a varied result of thin or thick, and light and dark... and the smudge and blend tools in Corel... The effects you can get are pretty amazing and so much cleaner than bringing out real paper and real charcoal and pastels, although the real things are more satisfying. I like to do a digital before I do a canvas or paper painting, like a dry run.
