Description
Here's my take on Marvel's Venom character. It's another character I've never drawn before but have always found interesting. I've not always been impressed with the way the character is drawn - he's often drawn in a very extreme, contorted way, and my version is perhaps a little more... restrained. I've been leaving the line work showing in my recent superhero pieces - I like the contrast with the digital painted look. This was drawn on a Microsoft Surface Pro using Manga Studio (for the line work) and Photoshop (for the colors).
