Description
I was inspired to draw my own version of Thor after seeing him depicted by lots of the talented artists on DA. (In particular I'm thinking of Reau's excellent and varied gallery.)

I quickly sketched out a suitable 'high and mighty' pose, and decided early on that I really don't like the current costume - and wanted to mix in elements of the classic version.

It took a very long time to draw all of the details in the costume and I think I'll go for something a little simpler for my next picture!
