Oh yes I know , i meant like the design is anime inspired, i can only emulate that style with tons of reference before me somehow, although I saw dozens of huge robot animes I still can't draw in that style, not that it bothers me.

This is the closest I came to drawing a Gundam [link] but even here you can feel the western influences

Well it looks pretty gundam to me. My attemt was a 90%, only the head was gundamy.

Hmm no Tau commander although I really love that guy, he looks awesome! Actually all the Tau forces look awesome I was more inspired by the many anime style mechs.
