This picture is amazing, and I love the black-and-white effect that really makes the shadows stand out. The texture of the fur against the rocks and ground is a sharp contrast between soft and hard. What really stands out to me is the eyes, which hold so much mystery and knowledge. The light cast in it's eyes makes them really stand out, not to mention the ghostly silver-white. The background tells so much about the wolf, where it lives, what kind of habitat. All in all, a fantastic photograph that I love, and always favourite. Going back to my family heritage, the wolf is important to me.

What I probably would have done if I were taking the picture would have been make the eyes in color, but this is just what I would do.
