Reminds me of those creepy illustrations from those books " Scary Stories to tell in the Dark". Just missing like a bunch of spiders crawling out of the eyes or some weird hole

IF YOU CAN ANSWER PLEASE - I never seem to "finish" pieces. I do a lot of sketches and mess arounds, practices,and studies. It is like I am practicing forever and ever and ever to finally make some great work but I never seem to make it there. Any advice??ย

I'm not as qualified as Anthony to answer your question, but since I was in a very similar situation in the past, I'll try to help you.
Try to force a deadline and work with it in mind. You don't need to show your drawing if you don't like it, but compromise yourself to finish it. After your deadline, review your work. Look for your weak points. If you can't spot your mistakes post on some good forum around the web, like cubebrush or conceptart.org and ask for an honest opinion. Next step is work to solve it. Look for good books, tutorials or advice from professionals. Then set a deadline, do another drawing and repeat all the process.
Remember to do your best, but avoid that masterpiece mind trap. The goal is to get a little better at each drawing. Focus one step at a time and I'm certain that you will reach what you want.
