IT IS DONE!
I have been working on this for months (though most of the work happened over the past week) - I wanted to make something that was just purely beautiful. You may read whatever you like into that and what it says about me...all I have to say is that of all the works in my collection, this is now my pride and joy.
That having been said, I do welcome comments, critical and otherwise. The medium is gouache (pronounced 'gwash') with a little bit of black acrylic to fix up splotches on the background. There was also some pen and pencil involved as sketchwork, but that's no longer apparent.
