Awesome. The proportions are right, the rendering is great, the design is lovely. If you're having trouble with the scanning washing out the colors, just lower the gamma correction after you've scanned it.

yeah my colors do wash out... my office scanner sucks! i can't understand it! b
ut will give the gamma correction a go! is it done on Adobe???

You can also try to adjust the scanning settings. Doesn't always work, though.
Gamma correction is usually in image viewers. If yours doesn't have it, try IrfanView, it's free and it has great color enhancing settings.

well i have used a variety of mediums...
For the black dress i used Black permanent marker, pink guache, silver watercolor pencil normal pencils, watercolors for the skin tones and face etc. black felt tip for the hair and out lining
