I'm sad because my sitution's tough, I don't want to go into it because it would take FOREVER to explain. In a nutshell. I worked my BUTT off and suffered many different mental things in the prosuit of my dream, only to FAIL. My mom DOES NOT make things better at all.
When someone sells a print here on DA, does that person's print become known on the front page and gain MORE watchers? If so, I might do 1 print here to gain MORE watchers

Actually, the only prints that are shown on the front page are "featured" artists and a lot of the popular ones. But I'm sure if you made a print your work would be rather popular. And I'm sorry about your dream. At least you tried; people told me to give up my crazy dream before I even started, and essentially I have because I'm not going to music school to be a professional trumpet player; I'm just going to a regular ol' Cal State to study Spanish and become your average joe. So I can kinda relate. Y'know, I'm glad we met! ^__^

Wow, this IS getting interesting!!!!!! AMAZING!!!! Where in Cali do you live? I live in Southern California, in Fullerton. Oh, and I can't exactly pursue my dream anymore. It was pretty much crushed when I found out I have a TMJ (a jaw problem, which is NOT good if you play the trumpet, which requires you to use your mouth 24/7). Anyways, long story short, it's how I got really into religion. No, I'm not a crazy religious person, I think religion's personal, but it's what made me start being a good "Christian". Sorry to bring that up, but I just want you to know that I personally think that there's ALWAYS an upside to everything that sucks. I'm sure that if you really feel your dream is dead, then maybe another opportunity will come thru. Maybe this new portfolio of yours will be your ticket in! Who knows? At least you can try ^___^

I'm super glad you're excited!!! And no, my jaw can't be fixed. My doctor told me that surgery makes it worse because basically, the joint is the problem. It's nearly impossible to fix a joint. But I'll never stop playing trumpet! It'll just be a hobby now. I'd rather not stress myself out about it, anyways. Just a guess (I'm so bad with cities).... do you live in Orange? Probably not... But I take it you live in Southern Cali. That'd be super cool if you lived near me! Maybe we could hang out sometime lol! (assuming you're ok with it. I'm not some weirdo or anything, trust me.)
