I live in a house on a hill, where a silver shadowed boy, hands of razor sharpness, and heart of clearest crystal, stalks me by the light of the noon. I do not seek him often but when I do, his ethereal mask unmans me. I wonder why he has come here. I wonder why he has stayed. I wonder if there's an answer, for when my love he'll betray.
I walked, one day, by a river. I walked one day near a path. I glimpsed this wraith and I answered to his cancer, was this man here on my behalf?
In the nimble forest hollow, I will wait to share his dance. I am small and tired and empty. With his soul my heart shall prance.
Now I never asked for a reason. And I never ask for a chance. But this solo, stolid solder has me counting the days to romance.

I too am a big Edward Scissorhands fan as u can see by the avatar. This is a really good picture, very good shading. I luv the way you added the mansion in the background...it makes the picture more creepy. I'll remember that when i do my next edward piece. A job well done.

This is really awesome. I think it would look even better if the darkest parts of his face were as dark as the background. Im one for the really contrasty stuff, though.

awesome drawling... I can never draw that well.. The only thing I see that needs improvement is the nose.. it seems a bit to high up.. or too round... i dunno.. but something could improve it.. Wonderful job though, I love it -kia

the shading is really good...there is something about the nose though...not sure what...maybe it is just noses are a fucking pain in the ass to draw!
better nose than i could draw nonetheless...i like the reflection but it looks like it is showing his face from the front but aren't the fingerknives on the side of his face? shouldn't it be showing a profile on the knives...or would that be too hard to capture?....i bet that would be pretty fucking hard to capture that on paper....very good though.....i love the black background of the house and the hair kinda hanging everywhere at the top of the picture....for some reason the face reminds me of Twiggy! lol
anyway....i will show joester! i'll let you know what he thinks....me i need to see what ya drew it from before I make any further comments....overall though so far its really cool!

I think the shadow above the nostrils is what throws you off a bit. I think it's just the shadows. No worries though. The mood is tinged with that subtle irregularity.

Noses. Yes. I hear you. And my inputs on this techie stuff are impressions put to words, mostly as I never sat still long enough to learn art. Bored me to shit.
But I have noticed, of late, that if I just..draw..and never MIND the textbook shit, I'll do okay. Man, book larning on some things fucks you up.
SO glad I didn't take 'writing' in school. Cor! Blimey. Heh.
