Finally getting to post my precious boy! He's been waiting on Patreon for aaaaages. I waited on posting until I had at least one reference done for the next round, since I'm planning on doing them in batches from here. Just grouping characters who belong in the same worlds together and such! Thur's also took me forever because a lot of my old art is inconsistent, so I had to make and solidify some choices regarding his looks, but I'm pretty happy with it all like the others I chose a few of his traits to purposefully make them all different. Because of the one I started one on AFTER his, I ended up going back through all of them and changing the eye references (so no one but Dortmunder has flt ones now) but I'm pretty happy with that change too

Thur is considered something of a mutt in the dragon world. His mixed lineage has lead to a form which doesn't particularly specialize in anything, but gets him anywhere just fine. His natural attack somewhat emphasizes this, being an acid spit which is prone to spontaneously bursting into flames. Thurkear considers himself to be adventurous and outgoing, social and charismatic. He also thinks he's hilarious, but that's up for debate. He is for all his bravado and bluster, something of a movie buff and video game enthusiast (tough when you don't have opposable thumbs). Something of an odd ball, Thurkear grew up not among other dragons, but two werewolves. He was adopted by a man and his son before ever hatching, and spent most of his early life with them. He's also got a big appetite, and a very bad habit of chewing on and sometimes completely eating random objects (signs, car tires, entire refrigerators...), though he's trying hard to curb this as he gets older.
When it comes to Garyuu and Thrae, he loves teasing both of them, and roping them into going wherever he's got his heart set on. Even if the three of them tend to end up doing fairly mundane things like wandering around town or grabbing a bite to eat.
