This is my audition for 's Survivor DA. [link]I used my character, the De-icer, for this instead of my main man Vector. De-icer's kind of my down and dirty persona while Vector is a little to virtuous to do what it takes to win this thing. ;D

There are supposed to be over 60 contestants. Each battle is given 2 weeks to draw. Unless you get chosen first you should have plenty of time.
But if it's between that and MA, MA wins hand down! Let's see what you and Anje get up to next.

but yeah. man, you are really good with the gradient things. I've only seen a small amount of artists use gradients on their art. it makes for a really unique visual style.

That's all hand draw and inked, only the tones were done in photoshop.

Thanks, James! Yeah, If you go to filters> sketch> halftones, You can turn grays and gradations to screen-tones. I know, it's cheating...but I'm a cheater ;D

That's brilliant. I'll give that a try! The traditional tones are a pain to use, so that's something I'm willing to cheat with.
