If I was to design a frog I wonder if I would be inventive enough to come up with a creature like this... It looks like a perfectly rendered but very caricatural, almost exaggerated version of a frog. But...it's a real animal, one of natures beautiful but strange creations.Related content

Hey , I own a green tree frog and it's hard for them not to get fat! they sleep all day and wait around all night for food... not moving. One night she got away ... was gone for 3wks and when she finaly came home she was skinny. I feed her every second night 2 bugs.... she's not getting fat but unless u regulate it they will just eat wat eva! that frog could get a mouse if they would feed her. and u are right that is the frogs nature they know that it
s gunna be feed why should it bother to move?

Your frog has exceptionally big bones. He looks happy thoug. I had one of those frogs, and he committed suicide; slammed right up against the glass, and killed himself. I think he might have ran out of water. I'm so damn bad with animals, but I have such good intentions.

He's not fat, it's just well taken care of...or very muscled, or...just healthy, but don't call my froggie fat....
Ehm, don't take it to personally, I''m very pleased with your comment, it's just......everyone seems to see this frog as overweight, while I only see its beauty.
Plus: you can't be too carefull with a frog, it might be a prince in disguise

welcome! And, no, I would never wish anyone on a diet! There's too much of that in this country. I would only wish that people eat what is perfectly right for them and to be happy in their body.

Hah, yeah, he slept in my bed. NO, JUST KIDDING! Seriously, though, he was still young when I had him, and he never got to be big and fat like other frogs of his... species... I got another frog and put them together, and the new frog ended up killing the original one by eating all the crickets. Oops.

Great clear crisp shot. It looks like you've taken this shot through glass? If you see at the bottom of the belly and backlegs there's some reflection.
