A sith character I created strongly inspired by Yuthura Ban from the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
I thought of setting her in the same general time period too... for all I know she's Yuthura's daughter.

I mainly enjoyed doing the tatooing, but I designed a head peice to go with her as well. Her little cone version of an ear it hard to see...

As for the name. In the game, a major charater is named Mission Vao (I did a wip pic of her here: ) Strangely, there's a city in California named Mission Viejo! Imagine that... so when looking for a name for this character I pondered California city names. Nebulan, Evolra and my brother helped... I eventually came up with Sasal Leto after Sausalito, CA.

EDIT (6 Months later): So Nebulan wants a basic story. So here's what I've kinda figured: Sasal is Yuthura's daughter (probably after Yuthura's turn to the light side). Sasal was not a patient child and in her teens took off to live on her own, finding a preference for the dark side. Sasal went on to investigate her mother's dark roots including a trip to the Sith Academy's ruins (they're still around a decade after the second game, right? For the most part). She has no goals in life, no desire to become Sith Lord or anything. She's willing to earn a living through mercenary work, bounty hunting or criminal activity. She's a very angry individual but not at anything in particular, she was loved as a child and all... she just likes being angry.
