His Marine callsign is 'Rocker.'
Javan first joined Omega 7 as a fighter pilot, flying a XF-23 Black Widow as part of 'Omega Flight.'
When the first Firehawk, Gerald McKie, was altered by Changewinds Incorporated, Javan was selected as a possible candidate to wear the now-vacant Firehawk armor.
After extensive testing, as well as several interviews with Stormhawk and Psistorm, Javan was selected to start simulator testing in the suit.
Javan's tests were passed, and he was reassigned under the callsign of Firehawk
